Social Photo Booths at Powell Industries Christmas Party!

On Dec. 10th we set up at the Greenwood Inn (now the Holiday Inn on Gateway) for the Powell Industries  party. The staff started the evening off right by rearranging their set up in order for us to have a prime location for the photo booth! Thank you to them for their wonderful support all evening long! With that in mind, the evening was truly a great time! The line up for the photo booth lasted all night and with everyone letting their hair down, putting on props and allowing the booth do its thing! The Powell Industries group were ever mindful that everyone was enjoying themselves….including us! Many of their staff came over to make sure we were having a good time as well. It was a fun time for all! It would be our pleasure to work with Powell Industries, anytime!

Cratex and Social Photo Booths ~ A Christmas Party!

Let the party begin! The Edmonton Hotel and Convention Centre hosted a Christmas party for Cratex in their Grand Ball Room on Nov. 25. It didn’t take long to get the photo booth humming! Even before the food and drinks started to flow the line up for the props had begun. It took more than a few announcements to get the picture takers to their seats to begin the meal and receive awards from the past year.  Then it was on, the photo booth was flashing non stop so it seemed as the evening wore on. The open bar made for a few interesting moments in the photo booth…all with good intensions of course, but perhaps a few may not have remembered the pictures they had taken. Check out the photo booth gallery to see the fun they may have missed.

Thanks to Miki for having us at your party! Wishing you a great year!

SPB Congratulates Marisa and Trevor on their Wedding!

Always a pleasure for us to set up at the Woodvale Facility and Golf Course in Edmonton, AB!  Beautifully decorated and terrific staff just makes it a wonderful place to have an event. Of course, Marisa and Trevor only added to the wonderful venue, a great looking couple for sure!

As in many cases at weddings, it was the young kids that gravitated to the photo booth first, wondering what all the props were about.  A little shy at first but with a little prodding from us it was non stop for the little ones after the first picture. It definitely got the curiosity going with the rest of the invitees and for the rest of the evening it was fun and laughter in the photo booth. Thank you to Marisa and Trevor for allowing us to participate in your reception!

SPB Entertained by Rosslyn Place Senior Citizens!

Usually we supply the entertainment at Christmas parties (and we do!), but let me tell you on November 5th, the wonderful residents of this GEF Senior’s Home supplied a lot of fun for us, all evening long.  It was truly a treat to see the Rosslyn Place senior citizens young at heart in their 60’s to the oh so inspiring 90 year old plus residents putting on the props and having just a darn good time, no inhibitions here! Joined by their kids, grandkids and friends,  all seemed to enjoy this holiday event put on by the staff at Rosslyn Place Lodge  in Edmonton, AB. Great food, music to dance to and an opportunity to dress up and have their picture taken made for a very entertaining evening during the holiday season. It was our pleasure to be able to supply some fun and laughter to these wonderful people, check out the Photo Gallery to see for yourself! We hope we can do it again! Thank you!

The Advertising Club of Edmonton Cultivates Big Ideas with SPB!

Social Photo Booths was invited to set up our booth at a fun, creative and very informative event at the Art Gallery of Alberta in downtown Edmonton, Alberta. Sona Chavda, on the programing committee with The Advertising Club of Edmonton (ACE), had been to one of our events and asked if we would like to set up our booth.  We couldn’t resist!

The night began with an inspired seminar by special guest Leslie Ehm, which included active participation in developing one’s creative skills and breaking down companies’ natural barriers to new ideas.  After the seminar a wonderful array of food and beverages were set out in the main lobby of the art gallery by Zinc, the restaurant attached to the gallery. Social Photo Booths fit in with their event theme perfectly, allowing members to create new and fun ways to network and break the ice with fellow members by putting on our fun props!

Taking colored pictures with our props can inspire new and creative ideas in the business advertising market, and by the same token, our black and white pictures can create wonderful expressions without changing or hiding the face of a business or industry.

The Advertising Club of Edmonton is a club open to everyone from company CEO’s to receptionists, as well as students entering business markets whose goal is to create positive and creative images for advertising in Edmonton, Alberta. Thanks for having us out!
